Taking Another Break

Back in October I took some time away from podcasting because, frankly, I was super stressed out. And so, for the benefit of my mental well being, I took a break.

Since then, I promised myself that I wouldn’t allow something that should be fun to make me feel bad.

With that in mind, I’m taking another break. I’m not super stressed like last time. Far from it. But I’ve had a great big bunch of life take control of my calendar recently and so I’ve fallen behind.

I don’t know how long I will be away, but I’m not going anywhere.

In fact, I’m still gonna be doing The Superman Super Show each week. It’s just that, along with the runaway calendar, I’ve not been feeling all that creative lately, which means I haven’t felt like talking about comics alone.

See, with The Superman Super Show, I have a cohost, Ed, and it’s easier to feel creative when you’re talking comics with someone else.

But when it’s just you and a mic… yeah, that’s a bit different.

So this week I was faced with the idea of not having an episode of Event Orr Else ready for today and not having an episode of Just Another Fanboy Presents ready for tomorrow, and rather than let that make me feel bad, I’m not gonna sweat it.

So, I’ll be taking two, maybe three (possibly more) weeks off to reboot my brain so that I can jump back in.
