The Approach 4
Written by: Jeremy Haun/Jason A Hurlley Illustrated by: Jesus Hervas/Lea Caballero Colored by:Brett Weldele Lettered by: Ed Dukeshire Design by: Veronica Gutierrez/Marie Krupina
Ok.Ya know I damn well hate when writers do nasty things to folks that they get you interested in.
The plan is to blow up the current terminal building and get everyone to an older building. The explosion should alert everyone that something is going on and all the help they need will be on the way.
Mac and Abi have some bonding time. Mac and Tucker come to terms.
The monster seems to be growing every time it eats someone. Using the energy to grow into something bigger and nastier.
Opal is one crazy bitch. I would love to know what her connection to the Cthulhu beast is. We'll probably never know.
The plan to blow up the terminal building works...the rest, well there is one more issue left.
Briar 3
Written by: Christopher Cantwell Illustrated by: German Garcia Colored by: Matheus Lopes Lettered by : And World Design Logo Design: Fernando Rosales Designer: Madison Goyette
Not sure how I feel about Briar, which I guess says how I feel about Briar. I think maybe issue three of this five issue series has lost some momentum.
The opening with a tale about a figure from the past is a set up for a future story element, I guess. Not sure I really cotton to the story telling.
Amusing scene at the walls of Dartorian. Reminiscent of a similar scene from Monty Python's The Holy Grail.
Gnomes turn out to not be what Briar thought they would be. I'm not sure I undertand the point of the bitchin between Briar, Spider and Roop.
Grendid, The Cruel One's knight errant finally catches up with and captures Briar Rose.
Magic 23
Written by: Rich Douek/Jed McKay Illustrated by: Jacque Salomon Colored by: Arianna Consonni (Arancia Studio) Lettered by: Ed Dukeshire Designer: Nancy Mojica
Dang it, still not caught up. Maybe thoughts later.
