Damn Them All 1 we are introduced to Ellie Hawthorne and her uncle Alfie. Scene two of the issue is Aldie's funeral, so I'd imagine the story will take up with us following Ellie for a bit. This is Ellie, now.

Ellie has already met an old squeeze of Alfie's and doesn't find out until later. Then she meets a Duke of Hel and doesn't find out until later. In the final scene of the issue Ellie leads a squad of bangers on a mission seeking retribution for an insult to her Capo's ego and leaves the scene with her own pet Duke of Hel.
In the second issue of
Damn Them All. The first scene, five pages, finally gives us some background on Dora LaFon. The chick that's been shadowin Ellie since Alfie's funneral last issue. By the end of the issue we learn more of the overal situation involving the seventy two Dukes of Hel, who Carlin is and that Ellie is being watched by a blind man the presumedly has his own personal Duke in the form of a seeing eye dog.
Over all this story feels like a mashup of Constantine, Gravel Combat Magician and Thomas Alsop.

The Approach 1 we are introduced to Mac, Abi, Jake, Tuck, Ricky, Teuila and Opal the staff of a small regional airport preparing for an approaching snowmageddon. In the midst of the preparations, two things happen that will change the evening for everyone involved. The first is a large jet, 26 people in total, that is diverted for landing at the airport and no soonerafter getting those folks as comfortable as can be done under the circumstances a second single engine airplabne crashes trying to land. When Mac and team deal with that emergency a body from siad airplane is taken for later investigation. This proves to be a bad decision.
The Approach 2 opens immediately after the scene that finished the first issue. Mac, Abi, Ricky and Teuila start this issue as the were the responders to the freakiness that ended the previous. All four manage to make it into the next scene but as you can see above there was a litte residual damage.
Ricky and Turk, who we find out are a couple, check on the body of Rebecca, the airline hostess from the end scene of issue 1 and the first of issue two only to find that she is not were she was left. Teuila is wandering around the airport attempting to find bettter signal so she can call her husband(?) and finds herself outside the office of Opal who, surrounded by blue crystals is sitting on the floor in front of an open book chanting some kind of Cthulhu mythos Great Old Ones crap. After listening in for a minute and being discovered by a rather alien looking Opal, Teuila ducks her head down and continues on her merry way.
Gathering together what weapons are available the airport staff finshes this issue by starting on a bug hunt.
Okey dokey for those that remember just bear with the rest of us, for the rest of us...

Briar 1 gets Briar Roses's tale going We find out kinda who she is and why she is. The time llost fairy tale girl finds herself alone minus anyone or anything that was home for her. Ultimately a prisoner of slavers she and another young girl, a Moorish girl that attempted to save Briar from the slavers and rather wound up chattel the same as Briar.
The two did escape the slavers thanks to the intervention of Wormmen from the southern wastes, cannibals who found both Spider and Briar unpalletable. One final 'escape' from a crazy dude living by himself in the wastses and the story is set for the scond issue. More did occur that first issues but to find out all the specifics you must go read it yourself (plus the issues ends with a really cool map).

Opening
Briar 2 we watch over the course of the first two pages as The Cruel One inacts a bloody ritual that powers one of her guard to successfullt search for and find the Sleepwalker. Meanwhile having successfully escaped the many trevails of the previous issue Spider and Briar continue their journey and find themselves lost in the Burbly Marshes. Attacked by the Quaggy Coven, Briar and Spider find themselves befriended by the same once Briar starts naming the seven fairy godmothers that were her friends in times past (see first issue). Our two young protagonists find themselves befiended by Roop a Quaggy witch that isneither adept at following rulles nor being the same gender as the rest of the Quaggy witches, which is why I think they don't take a cotton to yong Roop.
After a night of swamp wine fueled revelry Briar decides she wants to join with the witches, that being the easiest of life possibility she sees available to herself. Spider awakens minus both Briar and Roop and after further searching finds that Briar has now changed her mind mid ceremony when the death and blood letting of Roop was introduced into the equation.
Now in full flight mode Briar, Spider and new friend Roop leave the Quaggy Witch 'sancturary' escape back into the Burbly Marshes. Several vignettes show us background on Spider and the progress of the guards search for the Sleepwalker including the elimination of the swamp coven soon after our 'her' trio escapes.
