I announced last week that I was taking the week off for my mental health.
Well, turns out that I’m going to need more than a week.
So, what does that mean, exactly?
Well, for the time being, beginning today, there will be no new episodes of Just Another Fanboy, My Other Podcast, and The Superman Super Show. Yeah, I know that sucks, but I just can’t make myself sit in front of a mic and record stuff right now.
However, I do currently have three episodes of Just Another Fanboy Presents: The Death of Superman (Episodes 1, 2, and 3) recorded and ready to go. So for the next three weeks at least, you will still get those episodes.
Also, because Just Another Fanboy is just two episodes away from Episode 300, I’m going to try and sift through all of the episodes I’ve released thus far, including the JAF Classics Episodes, and maybe see if I can put out three clips shows. Basically, Episodes 298, 299, and 300 will be Episode 300: Part One, Episode 300: Part Two, and Episode 300: Part Three.
That task may take a few weeks.
I will also continue to work on any and all freelance podcast editing jobs I currently have, or may receive in the future, but creating new content, getting out there in front of a mic and “being on” as they say, it just isn’t in me at the moment.
So, after all that, if you’re now asking: How long are you going to need? We love Just Another Fanboy and/or My Other Podcast and/or The Superman Super Show! How long will you be gone?
Honestly, I have no idea.
I don’t want to be away for too long. I mean, I’d like to be back in time to continue on with Just Another Fanboy Presents after Episode 3, but really, that’s not up to the Me who is typing this out. That’s up to how Future Me feels three weeks from now.
Regardless, I’ll do my best to keep you updated and will continue to try and put content up over at www.steevenorrelse.com, at the Patreon, and at the Steeven Says Stuff newsletter.
I want to tell you that I’m sorry, because I am, but I know y’all have always been super understanding about life’s little obstacles so instead I’ll just say: Thank you.
