Hi Steeven and Ed,
As a follow up to my comments on the last episode, The Comeback of Larry Trent, with the couple of pieces of trivia in story 2 of Superman 2 that I alluded to. In the telegraph Clark sends on page 292 of Vol. 1 of Superman in the Golden Age, for the first time the editor of the Daily Star is identified as George Taylor. He had remained unnamed since his first appearance in Action Comics 1, and before long he will be replaced by the much more familiar Perry White. Also, in the same panel, Metropolis is identified in the telegram as being located in New York. Metropolis' exact geography has been the subject of some debate over the years, being placed in both New Jersey and Delaware. It's skyline is said to have been modeled after Toronto's where Joe Shuster grew up.
Anyway, just a bit of fun trivia. I enjoyed this story, as well, and your review of it.
Thanks again,
Mike A.
