To be completely honest, there hasn't been much going on with Steeven Orr Else for a great longtime.
But, if I can summon a great big bunch of creative juices, that will, at some point, change.
I've been doing a bit of writing and, well, I hope to have something at some point.
Wow, that was a bit of a non-update.

OK, so here's the thing.
When I started Steeven Orr Else I knew I wanted it to be a one man variety show.
I would write it all up, there would be sketches and some comic talk and other fun things.
The problem is that I didn't really plan anything out and I tried to write, record, edit, and produce a new episode each week.
And I was able to do just that for a while.
The problem was that I rushed things and created a bunch of stuff that I just don't like.
So, here's what I'm doing.
I'm rebooting and relaunching, just not quite yet.
See, some of the stuff I did I really do like, some of it I do not.
So, I'm going through the 15 episodes that are up now and I'm writing new ones using old stuff and new stuff.
The plan is to do seasons that comprise 12 episodes. But, I'm going to write the entire first season first.
Then I'm going to record, edit, and produce the first six before I put anything up.
So then, as those six are going up, once a week, I can start recording, editing, and producing the other six for the season.
But, I will have a mid season break of at least two weeks. In other words, six weekly episodes, two weeks off, then six more weekly episodes to end the season.
Once I'm done with Season 1, I'll start Season 2.
I'm going to try and craft something fun. For example, I'd like there to be a somewhat consistent theme, or storyline, going through each of the Franks and Bean's sketches that open each episode, and would even like there to be cliffhangers before the mid season break and the end of the season.
I started writing today, and in fact, I've made a few slight changes to the very first Franks and Bean's sketch that I'm really quite happy with.
I mean, I never truly liked the ending. If you've listened to it before, the ending is Abner breaking the Fourth Wall and telling the others that the sketch is running a bit long and so they need to wrap it up. Which, to be honest, I like, but I found myself doing that more than once when I couldn't figure out how to finish a sketch and had just a day or two to come up with something.
So yeah, I may take my time on this.
But, if you are a member of my Patreon, I'll be sharing stuff as I create it, so there's that.

Okay, so one thing that might slow this down a bit. I tried to do my Abner Franks voice yesterday and my throat wasn't up to it.
So . . . do I replace him with my old man (his father, Abner Franks Senior - except at this point he would be the only Abner)?

I feel like I'm getting a handle on the new Steeven Orr Else.
I have the first sketch that will open the first episode written and I may try to record it today.
I still want to talk about a comic book in each episode, but I'm struggling to figure out how exactly I want to do that. I mean, the show is "supposed to be" funny so I feel like I should only talk about comics that are ridiculous, like Golden Age and Silver Age books. I just don't know where to start.
