I don't collect comics anymore.
Beyond the fact that I can't afford a weekly pull box, I just no longer have any desire to bag, board, and store new books. I have more than I can handle as it is.
In other words, I read all my comics digitally and do purchase the occasional new book through ComiXology.
That being said, recently I've been thinking about searching out and buying up the Elfquest run that Marvel Comics reprinted.
From Wikipedia:
Not sure when I'll start, I mean I can order each issue online, but it's always more fun to get out there and hit the back issue bins, so maybe this weekend I'll go visit one or two of the local comics shops.
If I do set forth on this collecting journey, I'll post pictures of what I pick up here in this thread.

I have the Marvel run and some of the hardcovers WaRP put out and they are excellent. I have read everything they have on their website but it is definitely not the same as having the physical issues.

It is very cool to be able to read everything, minus the two most recent series, for free online for sure...
but nothing beats being able to sit out on my back porch and flip physical pages reading these excellent nostalgic books, ads and all especially in their b&w magazine format.

Agreed. With the Marvel versions, not only are they in color, they are also formatted differently to fit that standard comic size.
