Just finished the episode. Very enjoyable. The comic itself was bonkers!
Why did the munitions guy have secret panels built into his room? Why does he have armed men hiding behind them? Was the countess a real countess or a spy? Or both? What was the document she stole? Why hide it in Lois’s room where it will get confiscated? Doesn’t she need it? Why was a photo of the generals planning strategy so scandalous? Isn’t that what generals do?
There is so much energy coming through from the story. I’m sure it had to be exciting when it first came out.
I again liked the portrayal of Lois. She comes across as a strong woman.

I can only imagine what it must have been like to be a grade/middle schooler at the time reading that story. It truly would have been like nothing else coming out at the time. I really think the closet thing would have been the fiction radio stories running at the time.

These are definitely stories that just rocket forward without looking back.
