The wife and I watched this today.
It was entertaining as a movie. I would recommend it to my none comic book fan friends.
I wonder if Jack Kirby would be in favor of the horrid raping of his intellectual property that went into that terrible comic book based movie.
I will forever wonder why screen writers will take a few nuggets from comic books and twist the stories into something 99% diffferent then the source material. I just don't bellieve it's necesary.

I never read the comics, but, while I did enjoy the movie, I don't seem to be in a rush to watch it a second time.

its pretty rough, especially when you go back a second time. it has its moments of humor and the continent-sized baddie at the end was amazing, but it’s a miss for me. 2 hours 40 minutes  be bad or be long but don't be bad AND long.

It's funny we pretty much watch movies at home and the length never seems to be an iissue. I never reaised it was that long.
