Book of Slaughter 1
Written by James Tynion IV
Illustrated by Werther Dell'Edera
Colored by Miquel Muerta
Lettered by AndWorld Designs
This was exactly what I was hoping House of Slaughter was going to be, except that first chapter of that book sucked. Lotsa info dumping but needed info for those interested in the Something is Killing universe. We now have a new black mask for House of Slaughter and maybe someone that can back up Erica. Forty six kills in six months is insane for one person...she needs some help.
Damn Them All 3

Ellie Hawthorne continues to track down whoever is responsible for the loosing of the seventy two demons from their infernal realm.
Ellie's mafioso boss is attacked and that proves to be her in to visit Theo Bolters the man who may be responsible. I don't think the buck ends with him but he is definitely a step on the ladder.
This issues rounds out with Ellie hittin the magic candy, showing her to definitely be a junkie. The final parts of the demon visit from last issue, background info for us concerning what's going on. A gentleman in London using the demon he has to further his personal desires, maybe we will see more of him hard to say.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers/ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1
Writte by Ryn Parrott
Illustrated by Dan Mora
Colored by Raul Angulo
Lettered by Ed Dukeshire
Dan Mora's art is among the best in the business right now.
I like how the two worlds seem to have been completely integrated. TMNT and the Dino Rangers or what ever that iteration is called. Pink Ranger included.
Shredder and Rita Repulsa are both missing.
Several vignettes show the Turtles and Rangers behind the masks. Several big bads from both universe show up. The Rat King indicates that a ranger is responsible for the latest evil happenings. Turns out to be an amalgam from both franchises. Solid stuff
Did I say Dan Mora's art is killer? Yep it is.
Once Upon a Time at the End of the World 2
Written by Jason Aaron
Illustrated by Alexandre Tefenkgi
Colored by Lee Loughridge
Lettered by AndWorldDesign
This title is unlike anything else I have read from Jason Aaron. It feels much lighter and youger than I am used to from him.
Mace and Mezzy live in a very post apocalyptic world. Mace lives in a very spoiled juvenile manner and Mezzy the exact opposite. I guess that is the point of the book to take two people from diametrically opposed worlds and put them together.
We have an end scene from the first issue that is completely unaddressed in the second.
I wonder what happened to Mace's parents.
The art was a very open style with an animation style palette.
Noot sure this is my bag but I'll keep reading and see.
