Ferris escapes and in doing so injures Elsie and Tommy. Tomy ultimately dies and when he does Sean starts a joureny through various earthly settings both past and future chasing the Ferris.
Through the course of this first issue we learn Ferris was sent from another time to insure something happpens and Sean was sent from aother time to insure it does no.
Just this first issues shows their chase through thirteen different tie settings and that's just the beginning.
The first 20 pages of the book have art that is absolutly the best you will see in any comic book from 2022 and most other years. Every page is worth owning the original art fromm. absolutely staggering to see. The rest of the book is simmply a visual tour de force of the talenet of Lee Bermejo.

Kenny and Ted are living the typical straight/unrequited queer, racial majority/minority, male assigned at birth, high school life. One's a jock, one's not. Both are bullied by the same dude but for different reason. An add in the back of a commic book for magic glasses proves to be their saving grace...or does it.
Several test runs prove that the glasses can be helpful until the boys use them in more questionable situations.
The outcome of the wishes is evdent what is not is the journey the boys will undergo to get there.

Better summation of the furst and second chapters then I could give. This third chapter finihes but does not finish the story which kinda torqued me...I was of the though this would finish it but no and no indication of when it will be finished. Boooo bad form keeping fans hangin' while you do other things. Shold be like Charles Emerson Winchester, "I do one thing, I do it very well and then I move on."
Very heroes questy kind of story, especiall this third chapter at least to me. There was an Inn scene in the first issue of the chapter, a heroes quest must...in my mind. Escalating tensions between the humans, the fairies and the vampyres.
A Fellowship whose joureny via simple paths is impeded by forces they are seeking to avoid forcing said Fellowship to undertake the dangerous path through the winter shrouded mountains and a much more dangerous path overall.
A friendly giant who chooses to aid the Fellowship. Human, the weakest of the three primary races, uprising to help the Fellowship in their quest.
An ancient city guarded by the afore mentioned giant that turns out to be the setting for the final confrontation between the Fekkowship, human, fairie and vampyre forces. The Fellowship sundered with several members captive of the fairy and vampyre forces.
No ide when we'll get more.
