I’m a bit behind and just listened to this episode today. Another good job! I always thought Ultra-Humanite as Dolores Winter was a creation of Roy Thomas in All-Star Squadron so it was interesting to see it actually happened back in 1940. In the Squadron, Superman also identified Ultra by his eyes. I should have known Thomas would use old comic history where possible.

Something like that is so subtle the only way for us fans to know is to have read thousands of books that came before. It always feels to me like luck when I run into something like that. No way I can read everything to be sure.

Agreed. I was a big fan of All-Star Squadron so I remember that detail. It feels like an Easter egg now to see the connection.
