So I've been having trouble sleeping for the past couple of weeks.
I either can't get to sleep, or I wake up after an hour and then am awake for another 3-4 hours.
This has really been screwing with most everything in my life and is one of the reasons I haven't been around much on the board and why I seem to find myself always behind.
I'm going to be talking to my doctor about it soon because it's really starting to suck.

When you wake up, do you stay in bed or do you get up? I have a similar pattern: fall asleep, wake up around 3 or 4am, fall back asleep at 6 or 7am. I find that if I get out of bed and do something (read, walk to the kitchen to get something to drink, sit at my desk) that makes me tired sooner than if I just lay in bed and scroll scroll scroll on my phone. Just a thought!

I do get up and walk around, which usually starts because my bladder says: "Hey, we're up, might as well take care of some business."
I often try to get some work done and be productive when I can't sleep like that.
But, recently, my doctor gave me some little white pills to use when I wake up in the middle of the night, so on those occasions I've tried that and I'm back asleep in no time.

Okay, so the insomnia is back. At least it has been over the last couple of nights.

I slept a bit better last night. I mean, I got up and was up for 20-30 minutes, but that was because my dog wanted to go out.
